Description This course discusses (1) Introduction to Child Protection and Advocacy including the basic understanding, objectives and importance of advocacy in child protection. (2) Children's Rights in Law and Islam discusses the basic rights of children that are recognized legally and from an Islamic perspective. (3) Child Protection Issues and Problems outlines the various challenges faced in efforts to protect children, including violence and exploitation. (4) Violence: Concept, Types and Prevention includes definitions, types of violence against children, as well as prevention strategies. (5) Child Protection in Law and Policy discusses the legal and policy framework that exists to protect children in Indonesia and in the Islamic context. (6) Impacts and Dangers of the Digital Environment explains the risks children face in the digital world and steps to protect them. (7) Child Protection Support Programs and Services includes a variety of programs and services available to support child protection. (8) Child Friendly Schools outlines the principles and implementation of a school environment that is safe and supports children's development. (9) The Strategy for Monitoring and Reporting Violence against Children discusses effective monitoring and reporting mechanisms for handling cases of violence against children. (10) The Role of Teachers and Schools in Child Advocacy explains the responsibilities and actions that can be taken by teachers and schools to support child protection. (11) Education and Training to Increase Awareness of Child Protection includes educational and training efforts to increase awareness of child protection among the community. (12) Collaboration with Parents and Communities in Child Protection discusses the importance of collaboration between parents, communities and institutions in child protection efforts.
