Description This course discusses (1) Introduction to Islamic Studies and Social Sciences including the basics of empirical perspectives and their application in the context of Islamic studies. (2) Main Perspectives in Islamic Studies describes the theories and methods used. (3) Application of Empirical Perspective in the Context of Islamic Studies focuses on the application of empirical perspective in research. (4) Islam in the Context of Man and Society discusses the principles and practices of Islam in social life. (5) Islam and Cultural Manifestations explores the relationship between Islam and art, language, customs, and its interaction with local culture. (6) Islam in the Economic System includes principles and their application in economics. (7) Islam in Political Context evaluates the theory and implementation of Islamic politics. (8) Islamic Dynamics in Social Change analyzes cases and social changes influenced by Islam. (9) The Influence of Globalization on Islamic Practices and Understanding as well as case studies that analyze the role of Islam in contemporary global issues and projections of the future of Islam in social science studies.
